There are 9 individual craft studios at the Corris Craft Centre where products are designed and handmade, these include: contemporary and celtic inspired jewellery designs, traditional and personalised wooden toys, hand thrown pottery including the famous smoking dragons, hand carved candles, flamework and glass sculptures, natural forest furniture, handmade chocolates, truffles and fudge, herbal lotions and remedies and award winning artisan gin. See the designer-makers at work on most days and buy their wares; hand crafted items for your home, garden and great souvenir and gift ideas too.
You can also drop in for some hands-on fun activites including pottery painting, candle dipping and chocolate making. Book ahead to build your own piece of rustic woodland furniture (ages 16+).
Make a day of it; Corris Craft Centre is also the starting point for the King Arthur’s Labyrinth underground adventure (Best Attraction in Mid Wales 2018 in the National Tourism Awards for Wales) and Lost Legends of The Stone Circle. Corris Mine Explorers and Bwtri Welsh food and drink shop are also at the Craft Centre. At the centre of these attractions is Y Crochan café serving a delicious locally sourced menu throughout the day. Look out for the Welsh Rarebits - made using a tradititional Welsh recipe and a secret ingredient.
