Hidden from the main Dolgellau to Bala road, this magnificent and substantial stone building began life as a farm house. Nowadays, as the Eagles Inn, we welcome local residents and tourists who are drawn to the lovely village of Llanuwchllyn just four miles south of Bala and on the south side of Lake Bala.

Entering The Eagles Inn from the car park you will find a well stocked bar where features include real ales, chilled lagers, a tempting wine list...and the aroma of home cooking as we prepare our dining room food service.

We are very proud of our reputation for presenting a menu of home cooked dishes. Using local produce, you will find the traditional favourites such as lamb, beef and fresh fish alongside the more unusual such as shark steaks. Vegetarians too will be pleasantly surprised at the choices on offer.

A popular and unusual feature at The Eagles Inn is that beef, pork, vegetables and eggs are produced on the family farm in Rhydymain.There is a special children’s menu and we tantalise your taste buds further with a mouth watering choice of sweets.
