Bwch-Yn-Uchaf Camp site Bwch-Yn-Uchaf Camp site

Bwch-Yn-Uchaf is a campsite located in the village of Llanuwchllyn, close to Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake) in the Snowdonia National Park. On the banks of a river and in the shadow of the Aran mountain. A peaceful location, close to nature and a great base for walking, cycling and watersports.

The site is made up of two defined areas:

The first is ¾ acre Camping & Caravanning Club certified site with 12 hook up points, 8 of these are hardstanding. The pitches are level and partly sheltered. This part of the site is next door to Bala Lake Railway.

The second area is for campers wanting more space and privacy with pitches near the river and are unallocated, so you can choose where to pitch (unless stated otherwise).

There is virtually no light pollution here, so you can camp underneath the stars and with the sounds of the river, sheep and the steam train chugging past 4 times daily!

The toilet block is located at the entrance of the site. The block includes men, women shower, toilet facilities, disabled facilities and a washing up area.  There is 2 toilets down by second area.

The site is only a 10-minute walk to the local pub " Yr Eagles" and 10-minute drive to Tegid Lake and next door to Bala Lake Railway.
