On the quiet eastern shore of Bala Lake (Llyn Tegid), but only 1.5miles from Bala Town. In mature woodland with a gently sloping beach, you will find a warm and friendly welcome. We have 7 bedrooms some with direct access to balconies overlooking the lake. Here you will find peace and tranquility or a base for watersports and activities.
Robert & Ann bought Glan Y Gro in January 2015, opening as a b&b in May that year having refurbished the guest rooms and public areas.
You can find us rated highly on TripAdvisor and Booking.Com with the highlights being our friendliness, cleanliness and good food.
We offer a choice of 3 breakfasts: Smoked Salmon & Eggs, Crepes (filled with fruit or just sugar/lemon), and Cooked (with choice of 3 sausages).
Bala Lake Hotel is only 400mtr up the road and subject to availability and advance booking offer meals, spa & therapy, and other activities.
Most visitors find a peace and tranquility that transcend the beautiful surrounds and nature of the place, helped no doubt by the absence of tv but also, we believe, by the prayers and dedication of all that support us.
